I'll stamp all over 'credible combatant' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed live on Netflix.

British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.

Ex two-time unified boxing king Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive disparity - at Miami venue on 19 December.

Boxer's Mentality

"I plan to injure his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I intend to really want to injure him. That's my intention."

Civil Interaction

In spite of these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually known for his showmanship - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Fighter

Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Jake Paul's History

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.

He lost to Briton Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

Still, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial earnings.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28-year-old anticipated a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would derail the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.

"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.

Physical Disparity

As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual stare-down, with their size difference clearly visible, it emphasized just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the bout is really going ahead.
